When you walk into Palm’s Edge Assisted Living and Memory Care, you immediately enter a crowded and depressing dining room. [deleted] very nice and knowledgeable. He worries about the residents, but our mother will not be happy here. Looking for a happy medium.

We had a great experience with Palms Edge. My mother was offered a good home for almost 3 years where she received kind care from all the staff there. It is clean, tidy and professional with resident care as a top priority.
A call was made at the station on Friday. They do not offer Saturday tours! Don’t plan an impossible trip. I was on my Friday lunch break – not easy for me. This place is DUMP! I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in such a position. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
The director does a good dialogue. Definitely a seller. I see where they can sell the bed and the station. But when all the paperwork is said and done, excuse yourself when you get inside. That’s another story. First, it cannot retain employees. Not during lunch (you have to sit at the table for 20-30 minutes) Several times the medicine was wrong. Residents need more help with care and hygiene. Poor communication between help and staff. The biggest complaint is when employees ask you if you have a problem and try to explain how you feel and offer a solution. You are seen as a troublemaker and are shunned by staff and assistants. So the family feels like they are not interested.
I have seen many devices over the years. Glad to see someone working well with the resident. The staff were polite, direct and friendly and fun. I would recommend Palms Edge to anyone who needs to hold a loved one
